Most of our fundamental assumptions on which theological education was built have been slowly disintegrating into mere theories in different contexts. The essential reciprocity between church and theology school is increasingly diminishing in spite of the literature produced on the issue. Despite being the theological and practical foundation for the church’s mission, theological education is often disposed to conserve mission as a separate entity, in some way detached from the professional setting of training.
