Academics
The Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies is BCFK's sole degree — forty courses of primary-source reading, language study, original research, and mentor-led formation, tuition-free for Florida Keys residents. The standard is high. You are also welcome to take one or two courses without pursuing the whole curriculum. Education is valuable either way.

Life in the Keys
BCFK is not a correspondence school. Formation happens in the Florida Keys alongside study: mentoring, worship, and accountability in community. Reading schedules, quizzes, and research milestones live in the Student Portal. Life here is not easy — storms, work, family — so you may pause a course up to three times (eight weeks each, instructor approval) without failing; a fourth pause needs an administrator. The calendar moves two months while Monday–Sunday weeks stay intact.
Who it's for
The program is designed for Keys residents who desire knowledge of God, his Word, and his church — and who are willing to carry more than 438,000 pages of required reading across the full degree. It prepares graduates to think, write, and teach from the Christian intellectual tradition, including those called to house church leadership and pastoral ministry.
The library
The degree is built on firsthand reading. Augustine, Calvin, the Reformers, and the philosophers are encountered in full through a public-domain digital library — not modern abridgments or textbook surveys. That is why there are no textbook fees, and why the library is reserved for enrolled students.
Accreditation
BCFK is not accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency. That is deliberate. Independence from the accreditation apparatus frees the college to keep reading lists, languages, and research at a depth that credit-hour formulas often will not bear. The degree is an education, not a product sold for transfer convenience. Other schools decide for themselves whether to recognize the work.
The full statement is on About BCFK.
Cost
There is no tuition. The college is privately funded by the founder and receives no money or benefits from the government. Required texts are in the public domain.
Written disclosures for applicants — place of study, cost, withdrawal, transfer of credit, licensure, and complaints — are on the Admissions page.
