Bible College of the Florida Keys ("BCFK," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website or use our student portal.
In the latter sense, a man has a property of peculiar value in his religious opinions, and in the profession and practice dictated by them.
Your inquiry, your enrollment, and your spiritual life are not raw material for commerce. Madison understood conscience as property in the deepest sense; we treat personal data with that same seriousness.
Madison wrote of a property in religious opinion. We extend that instinct to how we handle yours.

Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who assist in operating our website (such as email delivery services) under confidentiality agreements, or when required by law.
As civil rulers, not having their duty to the laws before them, may attempt to tyrannize over the conscience of others
We do not sell personal information. A religious college that traded the trust of inquirers and students for profit would tyrannize over conscience in a quieter key — and Madison warned against that spirit long before databases existed.
Religious Educational Institution
BCFK is a religious educational institution. Our curriculum draws on the full breadth of Christian thought across the centuries; our governance draws on the liberty protected by the First Amendment. We operate in accordance with our biblical and confessional commitments and applicable federal and state law.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof
BCFK is a religious school, not a branch of the state. The First Amendment protects our right to teach Scripture, set admissions standards, and govern our community by faith without government dictating curriculum or conscience.
I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should 'make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,' thus building a wall of separation between Church & State.
That wall protects the church from the state — not the gospel from the public square. We operate freely as a religious college precisely because the government may neither establish our doctrine nor forbid our exercise of it.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure password storage.
Your Rights
You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you by contacting us at contact@bcfk.org.
Religion, or the duty which we owe to our Creator, and the manner of discharging it, can be directed only by reason and conviction, not by force or violence.
You may request access to or correction of the personal information we hold about you. Free inquiry belongs to reason and conviction — not to hidden records kept beyond your reach.
