Who can apply?
Admissions is open to Florida Keys residents. Coursework is predominantly online, but mentoring, worship, and accountability remain local. Applicants submit a testimony of faith in Jesus Christ, a pastoral or character reference, and proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Is the program online?
It is hybrid. Students do the predominant work of the program online — through the Student Portal, the LMS, and the digital library. It is not a fully online college in the usual sense: admissions is for Keys residents, and formation still includes local mentoring rather than a self-contained remote degree.
Is there tuition?
No. Students can complete the Bachelor of Biblical Studies without tuition. Required and supplemental reading is in the public domain, so there are no textbook fees.
How is the college funded?
BCFK has been privately funded by the founder since 2016. It receives no money or benefits from the government.
Is BCFK accredited?
No — deliberately. Accreditation certifies institutional compliance; it does not, by itself, guarantee the depth of reading, languages, or research we require. Independence lets the college keep those standards high rather than shape the curriculum around credit-hour formulas and federal aid.
What degree do graduates earn?
The Bachelor of Biblical Studies. It is a forty-course program of primary-source scholarship, language study, original research, and mentor-led formation. It is the college's only degree.
How long does the program take?
The curriculum is among the most rigorous in the country. A motivated student can complete the Bachelor of Biblical Studies in about six years.
Will my credits transfer?
No. The curriculum is much too difficult to assume the same level of study even at accredited institutions. BCFK does not treat its courses as interchangeable credits, and we do not expect other schools to do so.
What does non-denominational mean here?
Breadth, not indifference. Students read the full sweep of Western theology, philosophy, and church history. No single denomination owns the catalog. The college remains a confessional Christian institution: we confess Jesus Christ according to the Scriptures.
How do I access the library?
The digital library is available to enrolled students through the Student Portal. The public library page describes the collection; it does not provide open access to the texts.
